Thought I'd let you guys know my archery bull I got this last fall is hanging at the head and horn show in Puyallup through Sunday. Picked him up from the taxidermist Wed and took it straight there and had him scored. Net score was 365 4/8 which puts him at #4 PY for Washington Book. Unbelievably another archery bull from this fall was brought in and scored 367 and took the #3 spot. They said they hadn't measured any huge archery bulls for ten years and then two in one year that make the top four! Fidalgo Taxidermy did an awesome job and rushed it for the show for me. Thought fellow huntwashington guys would like to check it out and there are lots of nice animals there to see also. nwhunter

Good job man! I'll be up there tomorrow. Are you leaving it there for all to see?
Damn, I wonder how far my archery roosie has been knocked down? I was at 5th but am probably out of the top 10 by now. Eh, who cares? :dunno:

Did you happen to take any pictures of it up at the show?

I was there Wed and again Fri with Huntnphool and saw both bulls ... Very impressive guy's nice job! I got a call today from my buddie the raffle tag holder and encouraged him to take his down and he did. It looks like he takes a close third to rougheye & nwhunter what a great year for big Washington bulls :rockin: I'm glad I had the chance to see them all!
I met Bucklucky and he's a nice guy and does exceptional work if you get the chance you gotta check out his stuff. I also met kid#10 (just happend to recognized him) and again really enjoyed talking with him. I may have enjoyed meeting the guys and looking at the horns more than anything else there!

Rougheye and I met nwhunter and the raffle elk guy yesterday at the show. Great talking with you guys.. Those were some mighty fine elk.. Good luck in the future and Nwhunter pm coming your way

Thanks for both you guys bringing in your trophys for us to drool over. I loved the massive back points of nw hunter's bull! I wish the Sportsman show had more room to display the antlers and horns people bring in...can't really see the stuff when it is stacked back behind the tables.

Thanks guys and glad you enjoyed my bull. It is fun to see how peoples eyes get big when they see that freaky thing. It was nice to chat with a few of you and good to have some connections for down the road when permits like these are drawn. Big thanks to Rosscrazy for helping me pack that big bugger out to my trailer after the show, definetely not a one man job. I got a bushnell rangefinder out of the deal so that was cool and the teanaway bull got a spotter I think. I was talking and missed what took the grand prize of the show so not sure. Not sure it was worth all the driving and effort to bring a shoulder mount to the show but probably a once in a lifetime deal so what the heck figured I'd share it. nwhunter

How about posting a pic of the shoulder mount, curious how it turned out.
