My new obsession...
Sweet looking packer. Just over 13 oz's empty. Anyone own or shoot one? I'm curious how accurate they are. Good chunk of change for one.

I have one, not the crimson model shown. I'll tell you right now, I'm a big boy and that SOB rips my freaken hand off with full power 357 loads! :'(

gun blast review of the 340 (http://www.gunblast.com/SW-340MP.htm)
Wow another nice hand gun brought up tonight. This has got to stop I have no money or a job to buy :'(
I really liked this review. Seems like a good personal protection gun for around town.

My cousin and I were talking tonight how one would kick! :chuckle: I like the size and weight. I'd want one strictly for concealed carry. I love carrying and that just seems like the perfect gun for conceal to me. They have one down at Sportco with the crimson grip. I was all giddy about the airlite with the 1 5/8" barrel, but this one really has my attention in the black with the crimson grip

I carry mine in my front pocket, sometimes my back pocket depending what jeans I'm wearing. I don't even have a holster for it. If you want to pay a lot less, look at the Smith 442, same gun just not scandium and its .38+P instead of .357.
MUCH more shooter friendly :chuckle:

Cmon, that's like buying a truck with a four cylinder!! :chuckle: :chuckle: It does seem like a lot of cash for a .357, but its one I'd most likely never sell. I like the idea of lightweight. Is yours very accurate? I know its a small framed gun, so obviously not looking for clover leafs.

most violent handgun I've ever shot.
You will give up on 357 magnumb loads real quickly, thus the 442/642.
I've shot SW 500 and 460....not even close to the blast and recoil.

I would be honored to own one of the most violent hand guns in history... Only adds to the allure!! :chuckle:
