Went sturgon fishing Saturday. What a beatiful day to be on the water with the sun, calm wind, and good company. We only had 3 hookups shakers maybe 22 inches or so. A lot of other boats on the water as well. They all seemed to have the same outcome as us no keepers but always a good time ;)

Where did you fish? A buddy called me, he was at the Bonneyville dam and had 5 keepers to the boat for two guys and a but load of shakers, just curious to see what part of the river you were at. Thanks Mike

How bout reports from the Willamette? Anything decent lately?
From discussions with some guys that know the rivers -Seems as if the water temps in the Columbia have not forced the fish to the warmer waters of the Willamette as of yet and with the weather as it has been maybe not at all in the numbers as last year and year before. For me with that thought process the fish will be where the food is... Hence why the dam has been staying pretty good. Figure anything trying to stay near the warmer water (walleye, bass, carp etc...) is getting chopped up from being too close to the turbines and I would assume that is what the Sturgeon continually are eating up there and holding them. Looking to run up around the 7th of Feb weekend to see what we can pick up...

The water where we were at was muddy an 45 degrees. Might hit it again at the end of the week won't know till closer. As for *censored* river (willamette) hehehehe haven't heard anything good or bad. Dawhunt might have some insight on that part of water though.
cohoho, just a quick reminder feb 7th is super bowl ;)
