Well I am sure it has been asked before, but here it goes. I was thinking of applying for the spring bear up in Huck or 49, but really know nothing about bear hunting. My cousin gets into them from time to time, but doesn't care to hunt them. I am not to sure if I should even try for it without knowing what the hell I am doing. What do you guys think? The next question I have; is there anyone from the area that would be willing to let me tag along if they get a spring bear permit? I don't want to go to score an area to hunt, in fact I will hunt another area if I do bear hunt if that would be better. Not wanting a freebie or hand out, just some guidance. I would ask my cousin but he has twins boys that just hatched and has his hands full. Let me know even if it is just scouting time. Plus I can be a pack mule if needed, but not a cabin boy....

In the same boat over here on the wet side. I have a place that has lotsa berries in the fall but no idea where in the spring. I would put in for the draw but if I got it I think I would eat it cause no idea where to go.
So anyone on the wet side want a tag along? Same as Grizz, will help pack but no cabin boy!!
