Title: cougars in wenatchee?
Post by: wablkandtan on January 29, 2010, 11:12:32 PM: got the call to go up and help a buddy with his tag. we dont know much about the country. anyone been seeing any tracks? wheres the snow line. any info would help. thanks

I cut tracks often when I'm out hiking. Just cut some fresh tracks on Tuesday. Looked to be at least 2 cats maybe mom and cub.

He's talking about the other kind of cougars... the divorced ones....raaaarh... :drool:

I was lucky enough to watch it chase down a doe while I was up there spotting deer...thats been a month ago now but it could still be in the area. A friend of mine saw a cat cross Squilchuck Rd. about a mile below the state park...same cat? :dunno: Good luck.
