After tredging through the brush for a couple of hours with no luck, I headed back to the truck. I was walking out in the open on a well traveled trail and this little guy was calling my name. Not bad for the first of the year. I did see two much large buck still packing their goods.

The little white dog (Lulu) is going to be my next upland dog. She found way too many quail today to leave her home.

Would love to see a picture of your new quail dog with a bird in it's mouth! Awesome!

Do you use the little white one for quail and the big brown one for pheasants...? :dunno:

Here you go Pathfinder and KimberRich. This was Lulu's first quail. The lab (Sage) found the pheasant. This might need to be moved to the Upland Forum.
