Title: Wifes First Yote!
Post by: fishnate on February 06, 2010, 03:39:26 PM: So this year my wife decided she wanted to coyote hunt with me. I was all about it. She has gone with me a few times this season. She has had a few chances to put one down but it just didnt happen. This got her pretty down but I told her this happens to everybody, thats just how it is. Well today was her day. We started the day out howling back and forth with this dog that just did not want to come in, very fun though, saw a few going from set to set but not a good shot. On out third set I took a decoy with us that I got over Christmas that I had not used yet. Well about twenty minutes into the set we saw a pair about six hundred yards or so out coming our way. They helled up at first looking at the decoy or at least our direction when I started sqeaking at them and boy did they come and hard. We were calling into a cross wind and these dogs didnt even bother to try and wind us straight to the decoy they were headed. Long story short at about 30 yards she pulled the trigger and put the female down I let 2 fly at the male but no luck. I am so proud of her and she was so excited! :IBCOOL:

It is a cling to self tape no sticky residue left behind.

Where do you find camo cling to self tape? I want to camo my gun and theres no way i would put regular camo tape on it.Thanks

I know sportmens warehouse has it. Its great stuff. Change patterns anytime you want, from winter to desert to woodsy.

Post by: fishnate on February 08, 2010, 07:09:04 AM: I got the tape at wholesale sports in lacey and I believe the decoy came from cabelas. All Predator calls also has the tape.
