Has anyone done any burbit fishing? And how are they biting right now?

Burbot numbers are way way way down in all waters I used to fish.  Haven't heard of anybody trying, actually.

We fish for burbot up at sullivan lake in the northeast corner of the state. Don't know about right now but we fish for them during the summer when we're up at the cabin and between my bro-in-law and I we will catch on average 5-6 a night in 2-3 hours they are around 21" long. Heard of people ice fishing for them on sullivan and also bead lake is also a pretty good lake for burbot from what I hear.
