Title: snohomish sturgeon

Post by: 7mmfan on February 15, 2010, 12:02:08 PM: If your going to fish in there for sturgeon, be careful on boundaries. Its not well known that between the time that the Snohomish closes for steelhead (this year Feb 18) and June 1 you cannot fish for sturgeon above the Highway 2 trestle. Just an FYI. Try Steamboat Slough just up river from I-5, several deep slots in there, or better yet, cruise out to Priest Point, they should be showing up out there by now.
