I've been looking at lenses online (ebay) and some of them say digital, some say film, others say film/digital. Do all canon lenses work on canon cameras??? I guess I know the answer is no, but how do you tell.
thanks

Teacherman,
If your camera is a Canon EOS Digital you will need a lens made for EOS cameras! The previous FD mounts on lenses Will Not Work!

Normally you can buy a lens at or about the same price as Ebay and you will be assured that if any problems come up you will be taken care of.

Agreed. You don't really get good deals on eBay with cameras and lenses. eBay's a great place to sell your used equipment, but not the best place to buy. Often, used cameras and lenses sell for more on eBay than what you can buy them brand new for thru B&H.
The only Canon lenses that won't work on a newer digital camera are the really old ones - the FM ones. I don't think they've made those for the last 10 or 15 years.
