"In subsequent interviews, Mercado and Sweet both pointed to each other as the one who pulled the trigger"
Of course they did
"Sweet told Judge Jim Haynes that he knew the animal had been killed illegally but did not know it was such a serious crime"

Up for charges in Washington too, I wonder how many animals he got away with poaching in his lifetime.
-
I wonder at what point did he think that it was illegal to take big game without a licence- before or after the first charges.
-
Those names have been behind a lot of this kind of stuff!!! Story's circulate all the time and its amazing what people get away with!! I hope they max both out on all charges!!!

"Wildlife Alert Reward Program
The residents of Florida have an opportunity to help protect our state’s fish and wildlife
from poaching and wildlife violations and to help protect each other from boaters who
are operating boats under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It’s called “Wildlife Alert,”
and everyone who has access to a telephone or the Internet can participate in this
important effort.
Wildlife Alert is a reward-based program created in 1979 to increase resident participation
in apprehending those who violate Florida’s fish and wildlife laws."
Perhaps he lived in Florida BEFORE 1979.... ? :dunno: :bash:  NOT !!!
