Title: Savage mod 12 BVSS
Post by: quadrafire on February 25, 2010, 11:01:08 AM
I have a Savage 12 BVSS pre accutrigger. Has had a trigger job (whatever that means), and shoots very well. I would like to use it for coyote hunting,  but it is a heavy SOB. If I add a bipod it will be a Bi??h to carry. Any ideas on Stock modification or upgrade? I am mainly looking at saving weight

Talk to Big10... I know that his custom Ruger rig has some heft to it.  I have a Howa Axiom (24").  It weighs about 13 lbs, so it will be spending a majority of the time on the bench... punching paper.
