-
They Did pretty well for there first season.
-
Very cool Seth. Game farm? Looks like a good place to train the pups...
-
It was a release site on whidbey Island. I trained them with pigeons while I was stationed in Lemoore.
-
I've never hunted pheasants on the wet-side. Are hens OK to shoot?
-
Yes over here they are. they are all farm raised birds, and they seem a tad smaller than the wild version I used to hunt as a child.
-
Cool , looks like they did great!
-

here is some pics of there first week with me. I bought them off a craigs lists ad for 30 dollars each.
-
Nice pics. Cool you picked them up on craigslist
-
it was pure luck, but a good choice on my part. Thanks for all the postive feedback guys.

Looks like a great first season. They only get better from here. I would guess that next years photos will have two birds a day, and you will be looking for someone else to take along just to get the dogs more then 1/2 hour of work.
-
I know what you mean, after getting my dogs it seems that bird hunting is all about the dog. I am just tagging along with the shotgun.
-
Damn only $30 each!!!!! Thats a steal! Nice lookin pups
-
Raised two pups at the same time :yike: Great pics I also bought my lab from Craigslist for $80 she is 5 months now

Yes it was a hard task. All of my stuff was modified with puppy teeth marks, and all of the rooms were marked with urine :'( But looking back it was worth it. They are litter mates and they are unserpartable.
