Title: Pronghorn lovers...
Post by: popeshawnpaul on February 03, 2008, 07:25:30 PM
With all the negative mojo going on in the politics section, I thought I would post something a bit more mellow.  This photo reminds me of the first time I went to Montana.  It was in high school around '92 and I had an old Olympus 35mm camera with a 150mm lens.  This pronghorn was not scared of me at the Bison Range and provided a number of nice photos.  Grainy old 400 speed film worked, but I wish I had my 40D for this shot...  Anyone else have a favorite pronghorn shot?

Awesome picture.  I took a couple for the first time on my trip to NM.  I'll dig up my favorite.   I played today.  :)

Slider, we missed you guys at the party. It was a great time! We had some awesome Arizona Bull Elk backstrap. 35 people showed up! Wish you were here, count on it next year and good luck in Africa!

I have had this one on here before, but one I thought was sort of surreal.  Its like you started pasting antelope into a picture in a field.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv47%2Fboneaddict%2Fcutandpaste.jpg&hash=41064e1d5c9feb1e27a70659f2c01ae96793b52c)

How about this with the 25-06, leaning against a fence post.    Sounds like Jack and I might be headed in 2009.  This guy would do just fine for me.

I had to read this for a second time cause I thought you said it was surreal and looks like you are staring past the antelope pictured in the field.

Nice pics, how do they taste ??

Thats almost as bad as talking politics on here.  Elk tastes better, so thats what we brought home.  The only antelope I have eaten tasted like crap, and had the consistency of shoe leather.  Otehrs swear by it. I'll stick to eating moose.

Found this buck standing next to the road while back in Wyoming.  I wish I could have got some pics at a couple of different angles because this picture doen't do this buck justice....He was a dandy!  Unfortunatly, we were tagged out and  on our way to the meat processor.

You should have just opened the tailgate and he looks like he would have jumped in.
