Title: WDFW Public Meeting on Friday and Saturday?
Post by: Jekemi on March 10, 2010, 03:26:54 PM
I was informed thyt there is a WDFW meeting being held this week.
It's a two day, Friday and Saturday, meeting and the agenda is the 2010 upland game bird season dates and limits.  Also with a session specifically on wild Turkey.
Sat. March 13th there will be a time for public statements and concerns to be heard.   Each public speaker is restricted to 3 minutes, on the subject of your choice.  If you care to attend, here's the info I have.
Since I received this info from a member, be sure the info is accurate before making the trip to Olyimpia. Do we know what it is about?

Biggest topic will be (or should be) the new proposed changes to the permit system. That is supposed to be Saturday morning. All the info is on the WDFW website.

I want to know how many people will show up,and let there voice be heard.I'm all for hunting opportunity but the rule changes, are going hunt our wildlife to extinction. The WDFW seems to only care about there full time jobs, not a quality hunt or in any way shape or form conservation.Every meeting i attend it's the same old thing,10 or 15 hunters showing up ,we need hundreds to let them know whose paying the bills.I'm calling out all the sportsman who constantly complain in the threads here,if you don't show up to try and make a difference you shouldn't complain here. It's 1 day out of your life that could effect all of us as outdoorsman SHOW UP AND BE HERD
