Small bass and cod maybe 2 an hour.  I wont be fishing from it again till it warms up a little, then you get a dozen an hour :tung:

If you even think you might have bad knees or any problems like that then don't even think about trying the jetty without a boat.

Rasbo I have that jetty thing down. All you need to do is get in the boat. ;)

Boat is better. Those jetty rocks get people hurt every year and you lose more gear. From the boat a lot of people cast toward the rocks and reel back. We try to get about on the edge of where the rocks come out too and let the boat drift while jigging just above the bottom and we get more lings that way. Rasbo I am going springer fishing until middle of april so after that if you feel like going come on down and go with me. We start freezing fish in case we draw montana and we like to stop and give hornseeker some seafood.

I use to fish the South Jetty all the time but haven't in quite a few years.  I heard that they filled in between the rocks to where you can get almost to the end before you have to start rock hopping, is that true or is it still a long rock climb to get out past the green can?  My wife is trying to talk me into taking my work boat out there this weekend, has anyone been doing good over the past couple of days?

The can is gone....been a few years. Yes, they filled it in, but anything beyond where the can was is pretty slick.
