Title: Mounting sheds?
Post by: Michelle_Nelson on February 08, 2008, 01:07:45 PM: Had a couple folks ask me if it was possible to mount shed horns? YES, you can mount shed horns!

I have 3 sets right now that I am getting ready to mount. Two blacktail and 1 mule deer.

I am going to mount booneaddicts sheds and the mule deer shed as whole racks. The 132" blacktail sheds I have I may mount as a pedistal. Going to mount one shed on the deers head and the other one on the ground like it just dropped. Not sure of the pose of the deer.

Its a pet peeve of mine as well, actually Antelope shed their horn Sheath, not the actual horn, just thought i'd clarify that.
