The Jan?-Feb? issue of American Hunter had a review on it. They really liked it.

I have two, both in 223.  They shoot unbelievably well, and I like the camo pattern.  If I had it to do over again, I'd build one myself, and either paint it (Duracoat) myself too, or have it dipped.  Be careful when buying an AR!  It will become a habit that borders on addiction!  Pretty soon, you will have uppers in several calibers, then you will be putting lowers together, and finally, you will be able to put an entire gun together in about an hour and a half.

I can't say anything bad about my R-15's, except I did change/modify the triggers.

Where's that little guy...Oh, there he is....   :yeah: !!!

I have an R15 in 204. I MIGHT sell it, but only to get another caliber. I really like the gun.

I just built a lower for my D-Tech 243wssm, fun! Might do it again soon. I'd like a 6x45, and a self-defense 223, maybe a large frame R25 in 308......  :tung:

A R-15 CS is my latest addition to the safe and my first and only AR style rifle.  I think it is easy to carry and it has been as accurate as my CZ 527 in .223 Rem which is saying alot.

I thought it would be fun to own and carry on coyote chases in Eastern Washington.  I like the .223 round and reload for it so I figured it couldn't hurt to get another one.  I did not expect much more then 2 MOA.  It is a shooter and I am pleased with the rifle.  I would think with the inherent accuracy of the .204 Ruger round that it would be as good or better.

Have fun with your decision.

I bought a R -15 almost 2 years ago.  Its extremely accurate.  Mine is in the 223 caliber.  Never had a problem with it.  It does need a different trigger, the factory one is not a varmint trigger at all.  The 223 caliber will give you a bit more range than the 204.

They are a great rifle for the price!

I just got one for the camo, maybe a bit more PC to some and I am using it for coyote hunting.

It does need a different trigger.  It is my understanding that the Bushmaster (brother/sister) in varmint form does come with a better trigger assembly.  I still went with the R 15 preferring the camo and will change out the trigger assembly soon.

they are very good guns, also they have a triangle shape barrel that was pretty cool when i was looking at buying one but i went to the r-25 in 7mm-08 i have 2 many 223 already and can't justify a 204 when i have several 223 and 22-250's
