Title: Skookum Wet and Wild shoot 3-27/28
Post by: bowpredator on March 26, 2010, 09:54:27 PM
Just a little reminder about the shoot this weekend over at Skookum Archery Range in Puyallup. I will be there with a group of hunting buddies. Anyone else plan on attending?

Yea, that running deer was on of them, so our group opted to all shoot at the same time at the deer sitting still. Then there was that 3rd to last target #37 down hill that seem to close to were you shot at #38 from. We hollered back to the group behind us to hold up shooting till we could move. Other than that it was a good shoot.

that was a fun shoot. i shot 347 and skipped the last target due to like 7 groups stacked up there, i was using a rangefinder though. hence the high score. i wish i could shoot that good without one but, what can ya do.

the whole point to a 3d  is to not use a range finder learn your yardage and loose a few arrows.  You can't always use a rangefinder in all hunting applications. just my :twocents:

sometimes if i bring a r f  i will shoot first then check to see if i was on or off. though sometimes i will hit a 10 spot and miss guesed the yards by 5, realy messes with my head. :P
