They have been pretty scarce during the day. Michelle, still working on those coons and coyote for ya. This weather even has the coons holed up.

Maybe give him a couple of weeks to settle down and try him again...

I over estimated the distance and shot right over his back. Too bad, he was a big old male with a pretty reddish coat. I know where he lives and will try him again next weekend with a different call.

Had to break in the new bear rifle... what better way than on a coyote? 260 Accu-Bond at 2700+ will get the attention of just about any critter on the planet. ~josh

Shot that one a little back, good thing I had the stopping rifle too... because he was on a mission to eat me. Shot another one with the .375 right up the a$$ as it was running away. The others were pounded through both shoulders... pretty typical shot placement on a coyote. ~josh
