Title: where is a good place to catch Walley close to Ellensburg
Post by: huntergreg on April 04, 2010, 06:31:21 PM
This is one fish I have never caught. I was wondering :dunno: if anyone knew of a place close by Ellensburg to catch any and some good baits to use?

try the columbia near below wanapum or potholes reservoir, dont know what the walleye are biting on now but a coupla years ago it was all about vertically jigging blade baits, or trolling cranks or double whammys with crawlers or leaches, if you go to potholes go into mardon and ask and they should be able to let ya know what theyve been caught on and what parts of the lake to fish

Potholes is the best near eburg, moses would be your second best.

Yeah I thought everyone just launched down at Mar Don to chase walleyes. What kind of rigs do you guys run?
