Title: Shed antlers or tears of joy
Post by: boneaddict on April 17, 2010, 08:28:08 PM: Do you ever have one of those days when as a Dad you can be just busting at the seems with pride. My kids did well today in everything they tried. From basketball to the soccer field. They played unselfishly and they gave everything they had. Both tried new things today and they left it on the field. Blood/tears and sweat. Does it really get any better than that.

Post by: WonkyWapiti on April 18, 2010, 09:23:38 PM: I gotta go with the tears of joy. Since my 12 yo daughter recently passed hunter ed, I find myself already planning for taking her out and wanting to try as hard as I can to get her a deer.

My kids make my life worthwhile.

Post by: groundhog on April 20, 2010, 06:48:56 AM: Definitely tears of joy! They are only kids once and you have to enjoy every minute! I look forward to every game or 4-H event. I enjoy it as much as I enjoy taking them hunting and shed hunting.

However I did have tears of Joy when I found a large (by my standards) 5pt WT shed while turkey hunting.
