Title: Shed antlers or tears of joy
Post by: boneaddict on April 17, 2010, 08:28:08 PM
Do you ever have one of those days when as a Dad you can be just busting at the seems with pride. My kids did well today in everything they tried. From basketball to the soccer field. They played unselfishly and they gave everything they had. Both tried new things today and they left it on the field. Blood/tears and sweat. Does it really get any better than that.

I gotta go with the tears of joy.  Since my 12 yo daughter recently passed hunter ed, I find myself already planning for taking her out and wanting to try as hard as I can to get her a deer.

Tears of joy far outweigh sheds. Plus, some sheds get you both.

My kids make my life worthwhile.

Definitely tears of joy! They are only kids once and you have to enjoy every minute! I look forward to every game or 4-H event. I enjoy it as much as I enjoy taking them hunting and shed hunting.

I have those feelings with my kids all the time. Very proud.
However I did have tears of Joy when I found a large (by my standards) 5pt WT shed while turkey hunting.
