I received these pictures via email from my brother-in-law. Looking at the boundary and rock formation it definitely looks like lake CDA. Elk went for a long swim. Hope the pictures show up")
-
Great pics! Yeah he looks a little winded in that last picture. :chuckle:
-
Great Pictures thanks for posting
-
I recieved these pictures a few months ago from an email... In the email it said they were taken on lake powell... still impressive
-
WOW!! Thats a clean looking Elk!!!
-
Yeah I saw this awhile back on MM ... I asked them what the story was on it and no one seemed to know??? But one thing is for sure, He's a big bugger! Very impressive.
-
Pretty funny, just got those last week claiming they were from a lake in southern Oregon.
One thing I can guarantee is they're not from Lake Powell. Not a tree within miles of Lake Powell.
-
I always thought that the pic was taken on vancouver island......there is drift wood in the pic and the bull is a Rosie IMHO :dunno:
-
Too cool. Wonder if he would hit on a jointed wally diver. :chuckle:
-
My first thought was that was seawater... The driftwood is a dead giveaway. I would guess the Vancouver Island guess if it were me. I'd like to think it's a rosey but it's a huge one if it is... also very swept back...
I see bears crossing the water ways up there on Vancouver Island but not elk.

Those are some cool pictures. :)

Fresh water, no barnacles or other tell tale rock critters. Driftwood can be found in any body of water. Also no tiny foam bubbles.
-
I got them about a year ago along with the story, and a bit of video. CRAP....I don't recall where it said though. SORRY guys.
-
Great pics!!! Thanks for posting them!
