Title: Bull Elk swimming on Lake CDA
Post by: nw_bowhunter on February 15, 2008, 06:55:31 AM: I received these pictures via email from my brother-in-law. Looking at the boundary and rock formation it definitely looks like lake CDA. Elk went for a long swim. Hope the pictures show up")

One thing I can guarantee is they're not from Lake Powell. Not a tree within miles of Lake Powell.

Post by: popeshawnpaul on February 15, 2008, 06:44:26 PM: My first thought was that was seawater... The driftwood is a dead giveaway. I would guess the Vancouver Island guess if it were me. I'd like to think it's a rosey but it's a huge one if it is... also very swept back...

I see bears crossing the water ways up there on Vancouver Island but not elk.
