Title: Some dog hunting pics..
Post by: Guano on April 28, 2010, 09:30:52 PM: Just wanted to share a couple pics from this year...I will say, we have missed quite a few opportunities!!!! The dogs have been tough to hunt but persistence has paid off. My buddy just got into hunting dogs and has been having a blast.

The most productive call for me has been different versions of a pup in distress. I have been starting out w/ some bird calls, roll into a rabbit version and ending with pup distress. I have been very surprised how many dogs only responded after hitting the pup calls. I have been fortunate to observe some dogs coming in from 1500+ meters...love to see them react.

Hmmm.... my Match Grade HBAR needs to shed some blood !!! Come to think of it... it's been too many years since my .22-250 has shed blood too !! :bash: :chuckle:
