Title: Dog Training Clubs in NW Washington
Post by: skagit on April 29, 2010, 05:53:16 PM
Hello,
I am working on training a Brittany pointer and i am wondering if there are any groups or clubs in the Skagit, Whatcom or N. Snohomish County areas that meet and train together.  I am having a difficult time finding a steady source of birds to work with my dog and do not have much as far as equipment and facilities.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The easy access to good birds I can't help you with. I am barely catching enough for my training. I do have any equipment you would need and am willing to help out if our schedules work. I do have some chukar I would be willing to part with. They fly decent but not as good as wild pigeons. PM me with your cell and will get in touch. I meet up with another local NAVHDA member and train on a regular basis. I do have some homers and should have quite a bit more soon so that should help.

A good friend of mine lives in North Bend and trains quite a bit, has top rated, competition proven dogs.  I'll send him a email, will let you know.
