I would like to see a pic of him this year.

nice picture you know how to take them

i am suprised his horns are not lighter, when we have deer in the sage like that usally there horns are really light from rubbing on it. with that dark of horns around here that is a mountain buck that is just passing threw the sage. cool pic

Boneaddict your pictures are awesome. What kinda setup (camera, tripod, lenses etc) do you have? Do you do this for a living or hobby?
Very impressive pictures!

Can't see the pics at work. Marking this one so I can look later...

Hey youngbuck. Canon 40D and a panasonic Lumix, the latter not the best after I dunked it in a creek. Lens is usually a 400mm with a 1.4 doubler. I usually freehand or monopod, and this is for hobby. I enjoy photography. I sell a few pics, but my focus is generally on capturing bucks on film when my tags are full.

OK, finally got to a computer where I can see the pic. I love that buck. I wonder what he's gonna look like this year. Looks like a young deer with great genetics.

Probably a migration buck that shed in the timber and moved lower in the fall... :dunno:
