Great article and an exceptionally fine bull!!

I think it was taken in the Wenaha. mtncook did a drop camp for them.

awesome bull, congrats

Definitely a drop camp.

A 390 bull with a spread under 40 is unreal. The odds on those tags are already going to be terrible with WDFW new app. system but thats another topic! Ya it was only a drop camp but Dave certainly put them in the right spot. nwhunter

A very fine bull and a good read. I can't imagine missing that bull at less than 10 yards and then getting a second chance.

Thats an awsome bull

I was quite surprised to see a washington elk on the cover of eastmans. It was sure nice to see the love spread to this state. I didn't know we had bulls of that caliber, but that's probably because I hunt the west side, and have only been here about 6 years. Great bull and great story.
