Title: Seep Lakes panfish advice
Post by: Dadbear on May 17, 2010, 12:46:15 PM
I'm looking to set up a little trip for me and my kids (8 & 9) over to Potholes/Seep Lakes. I've heard Hutchinson & Shiner Lakes are good for crappie, bluegill & perch. Any suggestions? We're going June 5-6. Is that a decent time? I'll either take my 16' sled or 10' Livingston depending on where we fish. Maybe the big water up at Potholes is better? I just want to fill the boat with panfish so the kids will have lots of action. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.  :)

We used to go over to Soda Lake and bank fish for perch and pan fish.  Used to catch quite a few.  Depended upon the water level.  I do remember some guys fished the channel (once again depending on water level) and catching some nice trout.
