arrgh ive bid on 3 cameras a day for the last 5 days and it seems people are really willing to spend some cash on those 10d and 20d's with a 50 dollar kit lens. ive sold 2 guns in the last 2 weeks for cash to pay for school supplies and tuition but ive got a little left
I know I should spend $500-1000 or more on a wildlife lens but I just cant do that while im in college so is there any lense out there in the 125 dollar range that would allow me to take good pictures of my dogs and humming birds or for what im looking to do should i just mess around with the 60-80 dollar 18-55 kit lens while i learn the function of the camera? I was thinking maybe a 50 f 1.8 just to learn how to use the camera and just try for a body only auction.

I feel like i have spend 5 days strait on ebay bidding on every canon 10d and 20d that had the words exellent or very good in the description... I did a buy it now on a car charger for $1.66 so all i need is a camera, 3-5 lenses, extra batteries, memory cards, maybe a battery grip, a carrying case and about a year to figure out how to take decent pictures.
