Title: Want to get a bear this year. Help? Please!
Post by: sled on May 29, 2010, 03:56:29 PM: I have hunted hard the last two years for a bear. Want to try the meat, and would like a nice rug. I have been hunting around monroe but not been succsesful. I dont care how far or hard I have to work for it I will do it. Anyone have a suggestion for me for my best chances for a day or weekend trip come August.

Find berries, find bears. Try to hunt in the evening or dawn. Good luck.

Post by: WDFW-SUX on May 29, 2010, 06:55:10 PM: Just keep moving until you find fresh sign.. any logging area around monroe holds bears. Check out the snoqualmie tree farm lots of bear in there Tru value in North Bend sells permits and keys to the gates.
