This is the only info I found on the web. I heard about it at Swains.

Please do !! I think we decided to get out to Neah Bay for the last opener (maybe) of the year, I know very little about fishing halibut at Sekiu, never done it there. fished salmon there years ago when there were salmon, anyone remember what those were LOL !!!

I hope you do well in the derby !!  :hello:

Was a great day on the water, even got sunburned. We were third on the board at 10:30 am with a 44 & 3/4 lb'er. A 125 and a 124 1/2 took the top two. Just think half a lb. between 1 & 2.
44 3/4 lb

Thats awesome you were able to get after em PA BEN and get a spot on the ladder also !!! We drove by Sekiu on our way to Neah Bay and it looked like there was a pretty good turn out for the derby though most were likely still sleeping when we went by there at 4:00am !!

We fished pretty hard and moved around quite a bit but filled a 165qt Costco cooler with rock fish and ling cod and I caught 2 halibut 19# and 46# and like you said the weather was great !!

Good Stuff !!!  8)
