Title: looking for a boat
Post by: E-Town Hunter on March 01, 2008, 09:49:11 AM
I am looking for an early 2000's 12' fishing boat. I have narrowed my choices down to a Smoker craft "Alaskan" or possibly a Lund. I am looking for it to be a Deep V hull style. Does anyone know of any good dealerships that have something like this? My dollar limit is about $2500. Over here in Eastern Wash. there aren't a whole lot of dealers. I know there are a ton on the west side which I'm not against checking out.

Check   www.craigslist.com   daily. You'll soon find many boats list for sale. don't set you sights on those two as there are others just as good for the same price. Just be patient and watch the listings religiously.

Yup, I watch craigs list daily. I have seen some one there but they usually sell before I can get over to the west side to look at them.

There is a place in Ellensburg right by Fred Meyer that sells smaller boats like you are looking for. Not sure what they go for new though.

E-Town, I live in Stevens country and saw a lot of boats for sale last spring in Wenatchee, Bridgeport, Yakima, Spokane, Moses Lake, and various farming communities where the pressure was nill and boats were siting waiting for a buyer. I saw mine advertised for 3 months before I finally made up my mind and bought it. Westside probably has a faster turn over than here...
