Saw the Leapers Predator/Varmint hunting scopes and they seem pretty all inclusive. . .
. . .I was thinking about getting 30mm 3-12x44 Compact A.O. scope for my 6.8 AR build (optics are the last thing I will need since my Mag-Pul PRS stock should be on the front porch tomorrow afternoon after work). . .
. . .and I was wondering what the quality of the Leaper's scopes are since I have no experience with them.
Thanks!!!

Like me no one has an opinion as they've been too scared to try one. From the talk around the internet they are in the same class as BSA, Low end Tascos and Low end Simons.
Your 6.8 isn't a long range rig you might want to look at a Mueller 2x7 with an Ill. Dot. Bushnell Banners, Trophy's (I'm going to run a 1.5x6x40 Ill. Dot on one of my coyote guns this season) or Ledgends are all pretty reliable. The new Leupold backed Redfields are supose to be a pretty good deal.

Thanks. . .the AR forum I'm on didn't have anything good to say about them. . .
. . .I think I'm gonna go with the smaller powered Nikon Coyote special in matte black.
