do u have to be 18 to buy a compound bow from raineer archery cause im 17 and i really want to buy one

Man thats a good question....  I want to say that you can, not positive however.  Doesn't hurt to ask!  Why not just go in pick it all out and such, then just have your mom or dad do the final purchase part?

There is no state law age restriction on bows.

Store policy can be more restrictive than the laws.  As a business owner, you never know who is lining up to sue your butt, and handing a weapon of any kind over to a minor in exchange for money just isn't worth the risk to some of them... just get your parents to buy it with you in their name.

ask the store first before you start running to the cash register, when I was young one hardware store refused to sell me circular saw blades.  Store policy can be pretty strict, and I dont blame them one bit.
