Took my son-in-law and grown grandson to Waitts Saturday. I haven't fished it in years. We caught 34 perch in a couple hours. They wanted to troll back to the access. They picked up 8 nice 11-12 inch trout, just rowing back to access. This was 1:pm in a bright hot day. On the way out, only a mile from the lake, had a very large Black bear with two cubs cross the paved road in front of us. Good trip.

sounds good, thats a lot of catching. Did you guys release the perch or were they big enough for some eatin?

The 34 were the ones we kept. They were in the 8-10 inch size. Most were closer to 8 than 10. We released several smaller.
