got an idea for a project gun re barreling and cambering my t3 it is 300 wsm going to change it to 270 wsm and bed and pillar the action should be fun what do you guys think about that? any other ideas?

that is not a rifle I would dump the money into myself, they shoot good as many makers barrels in stock form. if you are doing it to practice your smithing' skills, then more power to ya. if it were me and I HAD to rebarrel a 300wsm, I would go to 6mm, 6.5mm, or 416.....something with more to offer in the way of change then the diff between 270 and 308......but to each his own.
ENJOY!

If the goal is to have a great shooting "RIFLE" when your finished and want to learn something in the process
then I say git-r-done :P You will love the 270WSM,I really love mine, but you have already been shooting a short mag so you know how well they shoot ;) :twocents:

Probably be cheaper and less aggravating to just buy another T3 in 270 WSM.

or trade for a 270wsm :P .
