Title: Nice blacktail Buck standing on I-5
Post by: D-Rock425 on July 16, 2010, 12:00:31 PM
I drove from my house in lake Stevens up to wholesale sports in mount Vernon yesterday.  I picked up a few things for this weekend scouting trip but on my way home saw a nice 4pt blacktail standing in the middle between i-5 north and i-5 south.  He was just north of angle of the winds casino.

I saw a nice buck between the Exit 212 - 210.  Then this morning I saw two does.  They seem to travel through that area frequently.  Last year I passed through when there were 5 deer standing in the same stretch.
I see lots of game in that area.  They had a bear trap right before exit 212 as your heading south bound earlier this year.

Still nice to see before the workday kicks in though.

Some of you really need to keep a camera in your car, in case your in an accident, if nothing else. I carry a little Kodak pocket camera all the time.

There was one about the same spot last year...wonder if its the same one. Sounds similar in size.
