Post by: Roger on July 21, 2010, 08:50:19 PM
Well I didn't get the Mt antelope so just bought a Wy leftover deer region F tag. Will be time to go back to the wolfs and grizzles. See several tags are going out this evening.

Going to be a great trip, 5 weeks.  Wy for deer the last week or so of Oct. then to Co. for 3rd. season in unit 30 for deer again and then to Mt. for the last week or so in the Missouri Breaks for deer, haven't been there at the end of the season, should be great with what I know up there.

Your season sounds similar to mine:  Wyoming Region "H" in September.   Coloroda 3rd season mule deer, then back home for my Late Alta muzzy hunt.   Hopefully, I also pick up a MT combo off the alternates list so I can swing by the lease on the way home from Colorado and put another hog down.

A lot of great tags on the site this year.   Looking forward to pictures and stories this fall!

Just got my 5 weeks of vacation approval today. Chief (fire chief) didn't say anything this time, as we are hiring someone that will be able to help him with my duties when I'm gone.

I've hunted those three states in one trip.   MT, WY, and CO, in that order.   I was about 15 pounds lighter when I got back and I was in very good shape before leaving  :chuckle:

Makes busting your rear all year worth it when you get to take trips like that!   Have fun and remember to take proper care of your head-gear when traveling from state to state (chronic wasting).
