Title: Mule Deer Pisscutter Challenge - Win Some Estrus Juice!!!
Post by: Smokepole on March 07, 2008, 06:52:21 PM: O.K. mighty hunters. Let's see proof of the smallest muley buck you have ever shot in your life. I want to see the teeniest & weeniest of bucks out there, and I want them dead, not alive. Full body shots o.k., but you must show the rack in the photo. This can be an old rack from your attic -- I don't care. Just make sure it is disgraceful.

I don't mean to brag... but I think I have everyone beat in this category. I have, what is perhaps, the smallest rack of mule deer antlers ever taken in Washington state. This buck is the smallest little pisscutter you have ever seen in your life.

But I won't show mine...until you show yours first. If anyone can beat me, I'll personally mail the winner a fresh bottle of estrus juice right to their doorstep.

Post by: Head-shot on March 07, 2008, 07:45:09 PM: Not bad M_ray, my first mulie was a three point just about the same size, I think it had a massive 9 inch spread and about a 6 or 8 inch tall rack and had bases about the diameter as a dime. And he was shot during the mullet era. I don't have any pics of him but I think I still have the rack somewhere in a box in the garage. maybe I'll look for it in the morning.

None of which are big, mid 130's - low 140's. I'd be happy to join the fun with a blacktail :)

It would be nice to see blacktail pisscutters for comparison, but you can't win the juice with a blacktail.

We were up in Colville this year for the late season and my buddies had two depredation tags so they could shoot whatever they saw on the property we had the tags for. First deer jumps out in the field, my buddy drops it in one shot. We get up to it i was like thats a small doe, born that this last spring. He starts guttin it and notices some small peanut size nuts, I just started laughing....wow you shot a monster wall hanger, the antlers hadn't even broken the skin, got 30 lbs of meat off it. Did the farmer some good but nothing i'd put a tag on.

Yougn buck that looked like a doe. antlers were maybe an inch long still under the hair covered in velvet. srry no pics. Looked like a mid sized doe when I shot it but he had baby horns and nuts that hadnt dropped when I got up to him.

From my experience the pisscutter usually has his balls hanging low, but when you shoot him they quickly suck back up in there. Just something I noticed. Too bad you don't have pics of that buck. Sounds like a cutey.

Haha I told you guys I shoot some weird ones, I have one more weird one as well, its a 2 X 3, really small, looked like it busted off in 2-3 places in velvet and re-grew all weird. Hopefully this next season I can shoot a normal one again, although I do like shooting these unique ones on occassion, and I do like to get them out of the area we hunt in case it is a genetic flaw that produced those other two bucks.

This deer was maybe 100 pounds. he walked up to me and Im about 6'1" and his back was just a little higher than my kneees he was tiny. Tame deer

He was eating apples when I shot him, so instead of dealing with all that hair and hide, I decided to go with another theme.

So, who wins the estrus juice? You guys decide.

Not much to the story. Like I said,just a few hours left in the season and I wanted to kill something. Back in the day ('92-'93?) I was all about filling my tag. The season wasn't a success unless I notched a tag. This little guy made the mistake of walking out in front of me.

Technically he made the mistake of walking out in front of my brother who missed (do you blame him) and I didn't. He ate good though. :drool:

We call him "Poop buck". We had hiked into some trees and after going through for an hour with no sign, I decided it was time to do the deal. I found a log and hung my butt over it. My dad and brother were down the hill from me and I could hear them laughing about the "whitetail" up the ridge from them. We were laughing and talking really loud. My brother kept yelling up hill about the "whitetail smoking a cigar". I yelled down to shut up cause my butt was getting stage fright! Just as I said that I turned my head and saw this doe ambling along diagonaly to me. I yelled down to the guys about this stupid doe wanting to meet the cigar smoking whitetail, then said wait a minute!! It is a spike! I leaned over, almost fell into my own poop, and grabbed my rifle. At 15 yards, I shot him. Laid my rifle back down, finished my business, and pulled up my pants and walked over to him.
We were all laughing so hard about the whole thing, we had a hell of a time field dressing! He was a definite pocket buck. If any of you would see me, I am about 5'7". Back then, somehwere in the 80's, I was even shorter, yet I was much bigger than the deer. Drug him out with one hand and threw him in the truck. Then felt bad for shooting him cause he was so small, but man was he tender! :drool:
