George Brady has informed me we will not be able to offer NWCO training at the Rendezvous this year.
Not sure if you know but this spring the Department instigated a major overhaul of the Nuisance Wildlife program. Everything is changing and they have not sent us the program changes. George cannot do the classes if they do not send him the changes.
We are very sorry to those we have told we would hold the classes but it is out of our hands at present. If you are in Eastern WA you can contact George at cascadeb@televar.com He may hold a class later on in the year.
If you are in Western WA you can contact Sean Carrell at sean.carrell@dfw.wa.gov He may give a class when the program is out of limbo.
Again my apologies.

I just spoke on the phone with Mr. Carrell and was told he would get in contact with George Brady. Said it might be some mix up with private citizens not being able to collect fees for the state and would endeavor to sort out the technicals. Carrell also mentioned that little or nothing had changed regarding the actual NWCO education.
If you are interested in western washington NWCO class by Mr. Carrell (probably held in Olympia), you should call or email him to get on his snail-mail list to receive the bulletin for date time and location.
Sean Carrell # is 360 902 2926
Despite neither of his names being phonetically spelt, he does seem like a nice guy :P (shawn Carol)

Is there no one else that can provide the training at the rendezvous. Seems like George needs to get the ok from Olympia and we are good to go. PLEASE. Why not have S. Carrell at the rondy instead of George. Please.

OK, George has been e-mailing back and forth with Sean and there is a conference call scheduled. George is cautiously optimistic that we can get the NWCO classes back on the schedule. We should know for sure in about two weeks but I'm going to go out on a limb and say there will be a NWCO class at the rendezvous. I'll let you know for sure after the conference call.

Took me 2 years of phone calls and a day in Olympia to get my Lic,,,,,,,
It will be nice not to license a bunch of "Bug Chasers" again this year.....I see we have orkin trained now
Heck, critter control will have to keep the same employee for more the a year.......lol......
(note to public)
You do not need a NWCO lic to apply for a "special permit to trap problem wildlife.......
You need a license to charge money
