Hello, I know this is a hunting site and all but given the down time I figured I would post a few pic's of my AK trip on the Kenai River. The 52lb'er was my biggest King, however I got out-fished by the crafty old man as he was quick to grab the rod when the 70lb hawg hit.

Yep as perfect as I remember it, way to go, beautiful fish... The big boy would have qualified for the HOG program....

good lookin fish! my cousins just moved down here from ak they fished a lot up there and smacked the crap out of them
-
Thats awesome hope you got some video of the fights :dunno:

That's a load of salmon there, 122 lbs in two fish.

Congrats on the Big Hogs! You will definitely have some great eating there! :) Alaska Fishing is so awesome. I've fished the waters out of Sitka twice and I had a ball! My biggest King was only 50 pounds, but we also caught Silvers in the 18 to 22 pound class. We also caught Ling Cod and Halibut that were whoppers! :)

Thanks for all of the compliments. It was an incredible fishing trip, out of 8 of us we brought back 850 lbs of fillets (salmon and halibut).
Engelwood - thanks for pointing that out, I didn't even notice for the fishing section. Thanks

Boom - we went with Big Sky Charter (www.kenaiguide.com (http://www.kenaiguide.com)); Adam knows how to put you in front of big fish. He's guided the river for over 10+ years and is fantastic, I highly recommend the outfit.
