Title: Varmint guides?
Post by: Stape on March 09, 2008, 05:01:18 PM
Hey all.  Looking for a guide for varmints.  Coyote, chucks, maybe a bobcat.  I have a buddy who has been really good to me for some time now and hes about to leave town, and I'd like to get him out on a varmint hunt.  I know there are places to go and all, but I'm looking for a high success rate, so I figure a guide is the way to go, unless theres any coyote hunters here that have a slam dunk hunt area you can put me on and guide yourself for a little $$$.  Nothing fancy, camping is fine with us, just looking to go through some ammo, get a few critters and have a fun time.  I've been loading up for his .223 to be a tack-driver and would love to see him put it to use.  Can anyone recommend a guide??   Thanks.

If you don't have any luck here I suggest you go over to Predatormaster.com and post your question.   There are lot of pros on the sight  and quite afew pred hunters from WA that I don't see here. There used to be a pro pred quide down by McCleary but I haven't heard much about him in years  maybe retired.

Stape,  Let me know how long you want to go for, day trip etc.  I got a call from a friend of mine and he needs some film footage using a certain call.  This would be for coyotes only.  I would like to go for a full day north of Moses Lake.  I do need to go sooner than later since this is a rush order.  I hesitate to use the words slam dunk 100% guaranteed spot because there is no such thing in coyote hunting, especially this time of year.  It is great territory and I will guarantee you for the cost of going on the hunt, which would be free, but I would need you to sign away your rights to the footage.  Let me know ASAP if this is something you are interested in.

Free hunt and video footage to boot?  I would be down for that!  Bow or rifle either one!!
