Been a while since i posted....took this pic on Sunday....thought i would share....what a buck.
-
a little uncimetrical. i would let him walk :yike:
-
I agree, I would completely pass on that one. Let him grow another year.
-
i think the antlers are disproportionate to the body, the mount would never look right, let him go ......NOT
-
Krikies. that is a nice specimen. I don't want your honey hole, just tell me where he is!!
-
Never mind-- the title says it :dunno:
-
yeah...not a honey hole...just fishing that day......buck is on off limits......but god.....trust me racking my brain to find ways to get him to the legal side of the river!
-
Broken Arrow, did you get any fish on that trip? Looks like the picture was taken from the Columbia River (just guessing). Look at all that tumbleweed piled up.
-
yeah...got some decent bass
-
You may believe or not but I think that that buck is huntable!
-
why do you think thats buck is huntable 400?
-
Because there are areas next to hanford that you can hunt big game and it looks as if he might be standing in that area ( you have to do it with a shot gun i think )

JimKD8 is right. No taxidermist would touch that thing... :chuckle:
-
What a monster!

except for in a certain stretch of the river, he's most likely in the NO hunting section.
he'll probably get poached though, a lot of them do. >:(
-
that's what that radio active water does... nice mutant buck. :chuckle:
I wonder if the state was managed more for trophy bucks if we would see more like him?

By "managed for trophy bucks" I assume you mean building a fence, training your own Delta-Force security guards to patrol 24-7, and shutting down hunting for 70 years.... then yes, I think you would see more bucks like that... :chuckle:
-
How does he hold his head up with all that weight on there........??? :)
-
dandy!
-
NICE!!!
-
great buck , how come his horns arn't glowing ?

I have heard from multiple people that there was a 180+ non-tyical buck hanging out on the south side of the river by white bluffs last year. Anybody else hear this?
-
wow thats a bomber
-
Those who know the area, know there's bigger out there on the site, he is a bruiser tho, I'm sure pics of the bigger ones r comin, only a matter of time

-
Oh my. :o
-
That is a stud!! Once in a great while one of those will cruise out of the no hunting area, but not very often. They know where they are safe.
-
could be easy hunting if you could catch him swimming :chuckle:
-
Awesome Buck. Nice pics
-
:yike: just need Moses to part the waters and guide him to the right side of the river!
-
Lots of deer lure with a pretty realistic artificial doe maybe a few salt blocks.

doubt he'll swim a mile in 6mph current but maybe a doe decoy on the bow of the boat?

If your lucky he might even use the ski ramp ( pee ramp ) :chuckle:
-
:chuckle: a large treble hook could maybe ease him into the water. o and about 200lb test :chuckle:
-
I think by end of this thread we could have one hell of a interesting hunt :chuckle:
-
must be something in the water
-
nice buck. i wouldn't hesitate, given the opportunity
-
Who would hesitate if legal :dunno: :chuckle:
