Title: Wyoming Region C Question
Post by: ThePascoKid on August 03, 2010, 02:12:30 PM
Just found out I didn't draw for South Dakota this year and was looking into what little options I have left for an out-of-state deer hunt.  I noticed I could buy an OTC for region C in Wyoming, but I also noticed these areas are listed as having limited access and tons of private ground.  My maps seem to contradict this showing some pretty large pockets of BLM and state ground.  My question for you guys that may have been there is would there be plenty of places to hunt or would I be wasting my time?  I don't need your spots just curious if there's enough land to hunt.

Are you trophy hunting? if not and just want meat you can buy up to 4 doe tags for goats and find ranchers that charge little or no fee to take does. We hunt in C on private land.

No I'm not trophy hunting, I had thought of hunting for lopes as an option, been through that area several times and there is a ton of animals
