It has been 12 yrs since i have been dove hunting and i am really getting the fever to go back out this year but in need of a place to go.
I used to hunt with my brother inlaw who lives in Quincy, he was a lifer there and had access to lots of good private land, but after my divorce, well lets just say we dont hunt together anymore and i lost my access.
Would love to find some access to private or if anyone knows of some good public land pm me.
Thanks, Frank..

There are tons of doves around Royal City and Othello and plenty of places to hunt them. Just find the thickets of Russian Olive trees and you should find birds. Have fun.

I hate to be the kiljoy here, but dove hunting in this state sucks, you can barely shoot enough to sneak a taste to a family. In Virginia we would sit out on a field with a case of shells apiece and blast away, was a blast. i believe the limit there was 50 birds, then you could eat some

yeah its not great and i think you can keep 10 a day. have not seen the new regs but some areas do have good dove numbers. any hunting is better then no hunting.

True enough, just tough when you have been spoiled in the past i guess

used to be good around the potholes have not been in awhile.

I used to hunt them by the cattle feed pens in Texas, lots of birds and bruised shoulders to be had there. But shooting even a few is a hoot.

Dove hunting can be great around here if you have half a clue on how to scout. We've had many hunts that were so fast and furious you'd be laughing at each other on missed shots or chances. One of our best hunts was 4 or 5 limits in under 15 minutes. Don't tell me that dove hunting sucks in WA...

They are harvesting wheat right now. If you want to spend the fuel go over and find the wheat fields and try to find the land owner. Find wheat and you find doves. SOme of the canals and ditch banks you can accees next to a wheat field.
As for doves we either slay them or get none.
