Post by: Instinct on August 11, 2010, 10:58:40 AM
im thinking of setting up 2 sights. one for broadhead and one for fieldpoints. question is if i swap the broad head sight after early season to a field point for awhile till late season then swap back to the broadhead sight. will it all line up back to way things were or will i have to do some slight adjustments.

I wouldnt bother. If your bow is tuned they should be so close that it would only take a slight adjustment. Maybe mark the sight with a scribe line for each.

Yep, should be able to get your broadheads to fly with your field points.

Sounds like your rest is out of adjustment. What broadheads?

Honestly unless your good at tuning the old school Muzzies are a bit difficult. I'd switch to a short in length broadhead like a g5 striker, short and wide. Otherwise you really should spend some time tuning. The newer shorter ones are much easier to tune.

A smaller broadhead like a Shuttle T or Slick trick would probably help.
From the sound of things your rest would need to be moved down and left, but there could be a arrow spine issue also if its that far off at 20

A 75 grain head is a little light up front.  You need more front of center with a broadhead.  It would really help to know your complete set up.  Other wise it's just guess work. :dunno:
