I hope its ok to do a product review.
This is one ugly tent but it does the job.
The Magnum spike tent is a basic Tipi style tent. 12ft in diameter and 10 ft tall with a stove port. Its made from what I would call nylon, the maker has a fancy name but I still think its nylon. Its a non typical, breathable material with a silver inner lining. The cost of the tent is $350 shipped. For the price its a nice 4 season elk camp set-up. Lighter and cheaper than a canvas spike set-up or wall tent.
Set up is very easy and can be done a number of ways. The basic set up is with a center pole (suppplied) and guy lines. You can omit the pole and just string a rope over a tree branch for a more packable option. You can block up the center pole and the tent will just free stand with out the guy lines.
The stove port is great and will accept 5-6" stove pipes. The port is a fiberglass sewn in port with roll down cover. Will be real nice come late season in the snow or cold. The floor is a thick rubber material that extends past the walls about 6" to form a nice sod cloth all the way around.
Overall I think for the bucks its a great tent. As with any tent you should seam seal all the seams. The tent does not sweat. I did a sweat test heating the interior to 90 with the sprinkler running over the tent, no sweat what so ever.
The pics are mine the last is the makers. As you can see I have it stretched for seam sealing.

Thanks for the info. I am looking into this tent right now. you think it could comfortably fit three guys and a stove if gear was stored somewhere else?
