 Apparently they showed up in 2004 and don't feel the need to leave. :)

I've seen them over there. Somebody poached one last year with Archery if I remember correctly.P.S It wasn't me.

I've heard about them.  From what I hear they are never in a huntable location though.  Pretty much stay in town.

Thats awsome, hope there are some hens around so the population can grow. I seen 4 turkeys out by wickersham early this year 2 hens 2 toms both hens were run over before the spring. both toms are still there by themselves wish the wdfw would plant a few more out there.

Yeah I saw 3 jakes & a hen last fall just outside the Skagit Wildlife Area. So tame they came running to my truck after a couple quick mouth clucks.
I agree its awesome to see them, but must agree with Shorthair; drop some bread & a whacking stick is all thats required.  :drool:
If we leave them alone for a few good years they might grow to a huntable population.
If people feel the need to poach'em then we'll never be able to legally hunt'em. :twocents:
