ive been doing a little research about the islands, and i like the proxcimity of cypress, being a 10 minute boat ride away from anacortes(home), ive been planning to go on a scouting trip in the next few weeks or so, but ive never stepped foot on it before... anybody out there hunted cypress? i know the dnr land and the terain is tough. anybody hunt it?

Its a 10 minute boat ride if your boat goes 60mph. More like 35-45 minutes. Hunted out there last year and scouted it this year...never seen a single deer.

That's not to say there not there...seen evidence of them there just never put my eyes on one in 4 days of hunting/scouting.
