Title: Whitetail in Northeast Washington
Post by: Palmer on March 12, 2008, 09:46:13 PM
If locals in the Northeast part of the state say there are too many deer in their fields and causing auto accidents then why not sell more tags?  Also open up the season to anterless but restrict the size of buck for more trophy sized bucks.  I know for some they are interested in the meat and I believe a doe tastes better.

The problem isn't too many deer, it's too much developing on private lands.  Deer like to live where they don't get shot at.  I can take care of some of the deer problem.  Just give me keys to the gate!

I have a problem with deer on our property outside of Colville!  There are just not enough of them.  Seeing 10-15 a day is not good enough for me.  Though mostly they are doe and dinks.  Not enough Turkey either!
